UNCLE TONY, Pontefract 1991.

This is Tony Cramer, he was my uncle. Tony was a lorry driver and in the sixties he spent a lot of time delivering goods to London. It was rumoured that on these trips Uncle Tony did ‘quite a bit of business,’ with the Kray twins and the Richardson gang.

We called his wife, “Our Bet” and she was my mother Mary’s sister. My granddaughter, Betty, is named after her.
